Born & raised as a part of our family, our Havahug Havanese puppies are pampered and loved from birth. They are current on vaccinations and wormings. They are experienced in litter training from 3 weeks of age. When you've chosen your furbaby, please review our guarantee and terms below. Then contact me. I'd be happy to welcome you to the HavaHug Family!
All of our pups receive veterinary care, a full worming regimen & vaccinations prior to going to their furever homes. Microchipping is optional. They are litter trained and raised as family, knowing human touch & loving care, from the moment of their first breath.
*All pups are sold with limited AKC registration. This is AKC registration without breeding rights.
Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.

Occasionally we do have, what we call, "White Chocolate Havanese" and I am often asked what they will look like as they get older
... the short answer is "INCREDIBLY CUTE"
Here are a few examples from past white chocolate sweeties. :)

Our HavaHug Havanese Nursery
Our Havanese puppies are all purebred, AKC registered, and sold with AKC limited registration. Inbreeding (line breeding) of first degree relatives has become a common practice among some show breeders to recreate look-a-likes. We disagree with this practice. There is NO inbreeding in our program. We practice genetic diversity to promote genetic health. We also believe that the most fulfilling and joyful life for a dog comes from being a beloved family member above all else. Therefore, we choose not to sell our babies to be shown by professional handlers, where they will be living their lives on the road and in crates. This is our personal decision.
All of our Havanese puppies will have their AKC registration papers, a full health exam, current immunizations and wormings. They will also be experienced in litter training, making potty training so much easier!
Upon the birth of our puppies, I will first send pictures, videos & pricing of each puppy to those clients on our wait list. After our wait list clients have made their decisions, any remaining puppies will be listed on our website as available for adoption.
Once you have selected your precious companion, I will continue to update you with pictures and videos of your puppy until he or she is ready to go home. You can connect with us on our HavaHug Havanese Facebook Page as well, where you can find more pictures, videos and info.
PUPPY HOLDS & WAIT LIST DEPOSITS
Most of our puppies will be reserved prior to birth. You may reserve a position on our wait list, securing yourself a pick from an upcoming litter, with a $500 nonrefundable deposit. Wait list reservations are held in the order in which they are received for each litter. When we are prepared to begin contacting our wait listed families, we will upload photos and video onto our website for your review. We will then notify those who are wait listed, allowing you to select your fur baby in the order in which your deposit was received. Once you have been notified that it is your turn to select, you will then have 2 days to make your selection. At which time, if you still have not contacted us, you will no longer be on the reserve list for that litter and may transfer your deposit to the next available opening. This is done in fairness to all other clients who will be anxiously waiting.
PUPPY VISITATION
Scheduled visits are welcomed. However, please understand that young puppies are susceptible to illness and the continued health of our fur family is our top priority. Because of this, we do not allow visits until after the pups have had their first vaccinations. This is after all puppies in our home are, at minimum, 7 weeks of age and have received the 1st vaccination. Upon entering our home, you will be asked to remove your shoes and wash your hands. We must also ask that no other pets be brought with you to our home. This may seem excessive, but illnesses like parvo can be deadly to our pack and, with so many families wanting to visit, we must take precautions. We also ask that you refrain from visiting other breeders/pet stores/ dog parks/sick friends etc. before coming to our home and please reschedule if you, or someone traveling with you, is not feeling well. Human ailments, such as strep, can be passed on to dogs. We must put the safety of our puppies first and foremost.
If you are too far to travel for a visit, rest assured, we will send you MANY pictures, videos and updates on the puppy you choose so that you may get to see and know all about him or her!
UPDATE: Due to a recent outbreak of Parvo Virus in the St. Clair County area, we are not allowing home visits at this time. All of our babies receive a thorough health examination, and signed health report, from our veterinarian and we do keep our families updated with playtime videos, quality photos, as well as email updates. We can also arrange for FaceTime as well. The health of our babies is our top priority and well loved, healthy puppies make for happy HavaHug families. We welcome you to contact our veterinarian and to visit our Facebook page where you can meet other HavaHug families for further reassurance.
